Frequently asked questions
Your Skyyn Score is a 0-100 number that reflects visible aesthetic features in your photo, based on a single selfie. It is calculated from four focus areas: Luminosity, Microtexture, Pore Visibility, and Tone Uniformity. Skyyn is an aesthetic scoring app. Scores reflect visible features in your photo.
For the most accurate scan: use natural daylight (face a window), hold the camera at eye level about arm's length away, make sure your face is clean (no makeup), keep a neutral expression, and ensure your entire face is visible in the frame. Avoid harsh overhead lighting or very dim environments.
Product label reports read visible product-label text and ingredients from a photo or upload, then explain where that product may fit in your routine based on your shelf and latest Skyyn read. Reports are informational and can be wrong, so always check the product label.
On iPhone: Go to Settings, tap your name, tap Subscriptions, find Skyyn, and tap Cancel Subscription. You must cancel at least 24 hours before your next renewal date.
On Android: Open Google Play Store, tap your profile icon, tap Payments & subscriptions, then Subscriptions. Find Skyyn and tap Cancel.
Your access continues until the end of your current billing period.

If you reinstalled the app or switched devices, open Skyyn and tap "Restore purchases" on the subscription screen. Make sure you are signed in with the same Apple ID or Google account you originally used to subscribe. If restoration does not work, contact us at support@skyyn.app with your account email.
You can delete your account within the app: go to Settings, scroll down, and tap "Delete Account." This action is permanent and removes all your data within 90 days. Alternatively, email support@skyyn.app with the subject line "Account Deletion Request" and we will process it for you.
Scores can fluctuate based on several factors: lighting conditions, camera angle, time of day, and actual changes in your skin's visible appearance. For the most consistent tracking, try to scan at the same time of day, in similar lighting, and at the same distance. Small variations (3-5 points) between scans taken close together are normal.
Skyyn is an aesthetic scoring app. It analyzes visible features in your selfie and provides scores based on how your skin looks in that photo. Scores reflect visible features in your photo.
Face and product photos are uploaded securely and analyzed by our AI to generate your Skyyn Score or product label report. Face photos are retained in your private account storage for scan history and before-and-after comparisons; product images are used to generate label reports and shelf context.
