These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Skyyn mobile application ("App") operated by Aethos Solutions LLC ("we," "us," or "our"). By downloading, installing, or using the App, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. Service Description

Skyyn is an aesthetic scoring application that uses artificial intelligence to analyze selfie photographs and generate an aesthetic score ("Skyyn Score") along with four sub-scores: Glow, Texture, Pores, and Evenness.

Skyyn is not a medical, health, or diagnostic application. Scores reflect visible aesthetic features in your photo and do not constitute medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. You should not rely on Skyyn scores to make health-related decisions. If you have concerns about your skin, consult a qualified healthcare professional.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years of age to use the App. By using the App, you represent that you meet this age requirement. If you are under 18, you represent that you have obtained parental or guardian consent to use the App.

3. Account Terms

  • You may create only one account per person.
  • You must provide accurate and complete information when creating your account.
  • You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials.
  • You must notify us immediately at support@skyyn.app if you suspect unauthorized access to your account.

4. Subscriptions and Payments

Free Features

The App offers a limited free experience including your Skyyn Score and one insight per scan.

Premium Subscription ("Skyyn Pro")

  • Pricing: $29.99 per year (annual plan) or $5.99 per week (weekly plan). Prices may vary by region and are displayed in your local currency at the time of purchase.
  • Free Trial: The weekly plan includes a 3-day free trial. The annual plan is a direct purchase with no free trial. You will not be charged during the weekly trial period if you cancel before it ends.
  • Auto-Renewal: Subscriptions automatically renew at the end of each billing period unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the renewal date.
  • Cancellation: You may cancel your subscription at any time through your Apple ID or Google Play account settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period; no partial refunds are provided.
  • Price Changes: We may adjust subscription pricing. You will be notified in advance of any price changes, and the new price will apply to your next renewal.

Payment Processing

All payments are processed through the Apple App Store or Google Play Store. We do not directly handle payment card information. Payment terms are subject to Apple's or Google's respective terms of service.

5. Acceptable Use

When using the App, you agree not to:

  • Submit photos of other people without their consent.
  • Attempt to manipulate, game, or artificially influence your scores.
  • Use the App for any illegal, harmful, or fraudulent purpose.
  • Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the App.
  • Circumvent any security measures or access controls.
  • Use automated systems (bots, scrapers) to access the App.
  • Share or redistribute AI-generated content from the App without attribution.

6. Intellectual Property

  • Our Property: The App, including its design, code, algorithms, AI models, content, and the Skyyn brand, are owned by Aethos Solutions LLC and protected by intellectual property laws.
  • Your Content: You retain ownership of all photos you submit. By submitting a photo, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive license to process the photo solely for the purpose of generating your Skyyn Score. This license terminates when the photo is deleted from our processing servers.
  • Score Data: Skyyn Scores and AI-generated insights are generated by our system based on your photo. You may share your scores for personal use.

7. Disclaimers

Skyyn is an aesthetic scoring app. Scores reflect visible features in your photo.

  • Scores may vary based on photo quality, lighting conditions, camera angle, and time of day.
  • Skyyn does not diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any medical condition.
  • Insights and routine suggestions are general aesthetic observations, not personalized medical advice.
  • The App is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Aethos Solutions LLC shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, whether incurred directly or indirectly, arising from:

  • Your use of or inability to use the App.
  • Any reliance on Skyyn Scores or AI-generated content.
  • Unauthorized access to your account or data.
  • Any third-party conduct or content.

Our total liability for any claim arising from or related to these Terms or the App shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

9. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Aethos Solutions LLC, its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your use of the App, violation of these Terms, or infringement of any third-party rights.

10. Account Termination

  • By You: You may delete your account at any time through the App settings or by contacting support@skyyn.app. All personal data will be permanently deleted within 90 days.
  • By Us: We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms, engage in fraudulent activity, or if required by law. We will provide notice when reasonably possible.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to its conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising from these Terms or the App shall be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Delaware.

12. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by email or through the App at least 30 days before the changes take effect. Your continued use of the App after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

13. Affiliate Links

The App may include a "Shop" section that displays third-party products available on Amazon.com. Skyyn participates in the Amazon Services LLC Associates Program and earns commissions on qualifying purchases made through these links. As an Amazon Associate we earn from qualifying purchases.

Products shown in the Shop are not reviewed, endorsed, tested, or verified by Skyyn. Skyyn is not a party to any transaction you make on Amazon. All terms of sale, returns, refunds, warranties, and product liability rest entirely with Amazon and the product seller. We make no representations or warranties regarding the suitability, safety, or efficacy of any product shown.
