# Skyyn

Skyyn is an AI-powered aesthetic scoring app for skin. One front-facing
selfie returns a "Skyyn Score" — an honest number from 0 to 100 that reflects
what the camera actually sees in the photo — plus individual scores across
four focus areas: Glow, Texture, Pores, and Evenness. Users scan weekly to
track visible change over time.

Skyyn is explicitly an **aesthetic scoring app, not a medical app**. It does
not diagnose conditions, name skin conditions, or replace a dermatologist.
Scores reflect visible features in a photo, and the app never frames output
as a medical assessment.

## Positioning

The product's differentiator is honesty. In a category where most AI skin
apps tell users their skin looks great, Skyyn deliberately won't flatter the
score — the idea is that honest feedback is more useful than validation for
tracking real change. The brand line: "The skin score that won't flatter you."

## How it works

1. User takes a front-facing selfie in natural light (no filters, no makeup).
2. AI analyzes the photo and returns a Skyyn Score (0–100) plus four
   sub-scores (Glow, Texture, Pores, Evenness).
3. Weekly scans compare against previous results so users see what shifted,
   in which focus area, and by how many points.

## The four focus areas

- **Glow** — how light catches the skin. Brightness and plumpness.
- **Texture** — surface smoothness and clarity at a glance.
- **Pores** — how visible and open pores appear across the face.
- **Evenness** — tone uniformity. Consistent, even color scores highest.

Skyyn Pro is required to access the full app. The annual plan is a direct
purchase ($29.99/yr USD) with no free trial. The weekly plan ($5.99/wk USD)
includes a 3-day free trial. Annual is the better value and is the default
selection on the paywall.
